Case Study

Audience: Sales Team at Industrial Cleaning Company

Tools Used: Rise 360, Canva Pro, Google Suite, iMovie, Voice Memo, Zoom

 

Learning Gap: The company noticed that employees on their sales team consistently came to the sales manager for technical and process help when using the DDI quoting system. This took time away from working with customers and creating new business. It was also frustrating for the customer to not have quotes sent to them promptly.

 

After analyzing the performance problem, I confirmed that the employees struggled to recall the information from their onboarding or when the company first implemented the new technology. Working with the SMEs, we determined that the module would be broken into three parts to chunk the information. I proposed a series of micro-learning opportunities where employees would watch short instructional tutorials and engage in follow-up activities for both recall and application of knowledge. In addition, this resource would allow employees to return to this information for reference as needed.

 

Our goal was to improve the sales team’s confidence and efficiency with the quoting system, ultimately, improving sales.
